HRK is a privately owned computer software and POS company providing solutions to retailers, the hospitality industry and institutional receipting systems.
Its owners are active in the business. Frank Fielers having 40 years experience retired in January 2007. Nic Fielers, who has taken Frank’s place in the company heading up Sales & Marketing & Mike Wilkins, who has 20 years experience with the company heads up Technical. HRK is a Level 3 BEE company with excellent progress in making its balanced scorecard objectives.
The name HRK derives from Hasler Registrier Kassen which where imported from Switzerland and later replaced by electronic cash registers from Japan but the HRK branding was retained.
HRK realised very early that the future of retail systems was linked to the IT industry and since 1984 locally developed specialized retail POS software and receipting applications which was sold to a wide spectrum of leading retailers and parastatal institutions.
HRK development was based on the vast knowledge of the industry obtained in 1965.
HRK is at the forefront of the latest POS technology and uses state of the art software development tools and open architecture hardware.
HRK has a dealer network throughout South Africa and is expanding rapidly in to neighbouring states such as Namibia, Botswana, Malawi and as far as East Africa. |
