Talk about being on top of the world, HRK has soared to new heights - right to the top of Table Mountain.

They have installed point of sale terminals and the HRK Centurion Stock Control Software in both the restaurants at the top of the mountain and curio shops at the base station.

This 'Where Eagles Dare' venture, presented a few logistical challenges, which have been overcome by having a file server, installed at the cable car base station below, the where stock is received and distributed to the various outlets. The point of sale devices at the summit , consisting of HRK touch screen terminals and thermal printers are connected to the base station by a fiber optic cable which runs along the cables, pulling the gondolas travelling up and down Table Mountain.

HRK was awarded the contract because of their vast experience in the retail & hospitality point of sale industry. They were able to provide the required solution within the budget constraints. The HRK system is easily interfaced to ACCPAC accounting software.
